Abstract
⺠Atoh1 plays crucial roles in the differentiation of colon. ⺠Stabilized Atoh1 protein directly induces Lgr5 in colon cancer. ⺠Atoh1 enriches colon cancer stem cells. ⺠Atoh1 acquires both malignant potential and mucinous phenotype. ⺠Atoh1 mimics mucinous colon cancer.
