Abstract
⺠Hepatitis C virus (HCV) induces unfolded protein response and autophagy. ⺠We suggest that UPR-autophagy pathways exert an influence on HCV replication. ⺠We lead to the notion that HCV may hijack the UPR-autophagy pathway for HCV. ⺠Control these pathways may serve as a novel therapeutic strategy against HCV.
