Abstract
► The structure of Pseudomonas aeruginosa PA1374 was determined to 2.3 Å. ► The structure revealed a typical winged helix-turn-helix motif for DNA binding. ► A hydrophobic pocket was observed close to a highly conserved cysteine. ► Conserved cysteine residue was known to undergo oxidation in other structures. ► PA1374 is a putative oxidative-stress sensing regulator to organic hydroperoxides.
