Abstract
⺠Vesicles were tethered to functionalized gold surfaces via biotin-streptavidin. ⺠Proteoliposomes with human ABC transporter MRP3 could successfully be tethered. ⺠MRP3 retains ATPase and transport activity after tethering. ⺠Possible approach for putting transmembrane proteins to biosensoric use.
