Abstract
⺠We show that the role of progalanin activation in extracellular component. ⺠MMP activities and angiogenesis were increased by treatment of galanin or progalanin. ⺠Plasmin inhibitor diminished MMP activities and angiogenesis of progalanin. ⺠Extracellular processing of progalanin is a novel mechanism for tumor growth.
