Abstract
⺠CanPIs structure is predominantly β-sheet and unordered. ⺠CanPI-7 also reveals signature of polyproline fold in CD spectra. ⺠Inhibition kinetics reveals higher potency of multidomain CanPIs against proteases. ⺠CanPIs highly stabile under extreme pH, temperature and denaturing conditions. ⺠Structure prediction, MALDI-TOF-MS and docking reveal binding mechanism of multidomain CanPI-7.
