Abstract
⺠We examined the anti-athrogenic effect of apocynin in atherosclerotic model mice. ⺠Apocynin prevented atherosclerotic lesion formation. ⺠Apocynin suppressed ROS production in aorta and in macrophages. ⺠Apocynin suppressed cytokine expression and cell proliferation in macrophages. ⺠Apocynin may be beneficial compound for the prevention of atherosclerosis.
