Abstract
⺠XPhyH-like is induced in Xenopus tadpole tail stumps during the refractory period. ⺠FK506-treatment suppresses XPhyH-like expression in the amputated tail stumps. ⺠XPhyH-like expression is enriched in the blood cell fraction. ⺠XPhyH-like expressing cells can be related to the impaired regenerative ability. ⺠XPhyH-like could be a marker gene for autoimmune cells that attacks blastema cells.
