Abstract
► HP1γ overexpression in P19 cells causes differentiation to the three germ layers. ► Differentiation is unique because drug inducers are unnecessary. ► HP1γ does not affect the pluripotency of P19 EC cells in propagating culture. ► HP1γ favors induced differentiation toward endodermal cells.
