Abstract
⺠We find and describe the interaction of the tomato kinase Adi3 and the E3 ubiquitin ligase AdBiL. ⺠We describe the in vitro ubiquitination activity of AdBiL and its ability to transfer ubiquitin onto Adi3. ⺠We characterize the in vitro degradation of Adi3 in the presence of plant protein extracts. ⺠Different hypotheses are presented for the functional significance of Adi3 ubiquitination.
