Abstract
⺠NO is produced from l-arginine in response to elevated temperature in yeast. ⺠Tah18 was first identified as the yeast protein involved in NO synthesis. ⺠Tah18-dependent NO synthesis confers tolerance to high-temperature on yeast cells.
