Abstract
► Expression of GPR174 in CHO cells induces morphological changes and proliferation delay. ► These are due to increase in intracellular cAMP concentration. ► Lysophosphatidylserine was identified to stimulate GPR174 leading to activate ACase. ► The potencies of fatty acid moiety on LysoPS were oleoyl ⩾ stearoyl > palmitoyl. ► We propose that GPR174 is a lysophosphatidylserine receptor.
