Abstract
⺠We construct a cell permeable Tat-GLO protein. ⺠We examined the protective effects of Tat-GLO protein on SNP-induced cell death. ⺠Transduced Tat-GLO protein protects from the STZ-induced pancreas tissue. ⺠Tat-GLO protein markedly reduced STZ-induced blood glucose levels. ⺠Tat-GLO protein could be useful as a therapeutic agent for diabetes.
