Abstract
⺠Endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress increases total tau protein levels. ⺠The degradation of tau protein delays under ER stress. ⺠The binding of tau and carboxyl terminus of Hsc70-interacting protein was decreased. ⺠The increase of tau protein by ER stress may provide clue to treatment for tauopathy.
