Abstract
⺠Ca2+ antagonists decrease anthocyanin and soluble sugar contents. ⺠Ca2+ antagonists strongly down-regulates the expression of SUC1 and PAP1. ⺠Ca2+ signals play a role in sugar uptake rather than in anthocyanin biosynthesis.
