Abstract
⺠PRL enhanced the transcellular and paracellular duodenal Ca2+ transport in male rats. ⺠The PRL-enhanced transcellular Ca2+ transport was dependent on L-type Ca2+ channel. ⺠Both PMCA and NCX1 were essential for the basolateral Ca2+ efflux. ⺠JAK2, MEK, PI3K and Src mediated PRL signaling in the duodenal cells of male rats.
