Abstract
⺠Effects of TFAM overexpression were examined at the individual level in Drosophila. ⺠Excess TFAM had a negative influence on lifespan under the standard condition. ⺠Overexpression of TFAM caused responsive reaction against strong oxidative stress. ⺠A possibility that TFAM is involved in the elimination of ROS is suggested.
