Abstract
► Bisphenol A (BPA)-peroxynitrite reactions form mainly nitrated BPA at pH ca. 7.0. ► BPA reaction with −OCl/HOCl forms mainly chlorinated BPA at around the neutral pH. ► Both chlorinated and nitrated BPA bind to estrogen-related receptor-gamma (ERRγ). ► Like BPA, the above metabolites of BPA bind ERRγ more avidly compared to estradiol.
