Rnf11-like is a novel component of NF-κB signaling, governing the posterior patterning in the zebrafish embryos

► Zebrafish Rnf11-like is an orthologue of human RNF11. ► rnf11-like is expressed in the presomatic mesoderm, retina and brain of zebrafish embryos. ► Knock-down of rnf11-like induces cell death and developmental abnormalities in the posterior somites. ► Depletion of Rnf11-like elevates the level of ikk1 transcripts, a component of NF-κB signaling. ► Rnf11-like is an essential component of NF-κB signaling for the posterior somites formation.
