Abstract
⺠Cyclin B2 was localized in the germinal vesicle and at the perinuclear region. ⺠Localization of cyclin B2 in the perinuclear region was perturbed by its N-terminus. ⺠Overexpression of Eg5 rescued a spindle defect induced by cyclin B2 N-terminus. ⺠Myc-Eg5 was localized at the perinuclear region and close to endogenous cyclin B2. ⺠The proper localization of cyclin B2 is essential for bipolar spindle formation.
