Abstract
⺠miR-30c emerges as a kidney-enriched miRNA in tilapia. ⺠miR-30c expression is dynamically regulated by salt stress. ⺠miR-30c loss of function leads to an inability to respond to osmotic stress. ⺠HSP70 is identified as one of the direct regulatory targets of miR-30c.
