Abstract
⺠Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) plays important roles in various organisms. ⺠Functions of phospholipids containing EPA (EPA-PLs) in protein folding were analyzed. ⺠Folding of a bacterial outer membrane protein was facilitated by EPA-PLs. ⺠Formation of the secondary structure of the protein was facilitated by EPA-PLs.
