Abstract
⺠Short-term myocardial ischemia/reperfusion caused the decrease in SERCA activity. ⺠Short-term myocardial ischemia/reperfusion did not change SERCA2a protein levels. ⺠N-n-butyl haloperidol iodide protects SERCA activity after ischemia/reperfusion. ⺠N-n-butyl haloperidol iodide maintains intracellular Ca2+ homeostasis.
