Abstract
► H2S decreases ROS levels in cardiomyocytes during ischemia/reperfusion. ► One mechanism is associated with inhibition of mitochondrial complex IV. ► The other mechanism is through activation of SODs. ► ITC results show direct interaction between H2S and CuZn-SOD.
