Abstract
⺠Successful use of a novel RNA-specific bioinformatic tool, RNA SCOPE. ⺠Identified novel 3ⲠUTR cis-acting element that destabilizes a reporter mRNA. ⺠Show exosome subunits are required for cis-acting element-mediated mRNA instability. ⺠Define precise sequence requirements of novel cis-acting element. ⺠Show that microarray-defined exosome subunit-regulated mRNAs have novel element.
