Abstract
⺠Dn-PKC-ε and dn-PKC-δ showed distinct subcellular localization in adult myocytes. ⺠ET-1 induces positive inotropy, increase in [Ca2+]i and increase in Ca sensitivity. ⺠The effects of ET-1 were abolished by dn-PKC-ε overexpression but not by dn-PKC-δ. ⺠The data suggest that PKCε has a critical role in ET-1-induced changes.
