Abstract
⺠Mio is the Drosophila homolog of ChREBP. ⺠Mio is necessary for high sugar-induced lipogenic gene expression. ⺠Mio controls triglyceride storage in the fly fat body. ⺠Mio acts in the fat body to regulate food consumption. ⺠This study implicates Mio in tissue-specific regulation of metabolism and feeding.
