Abstract

âº CyaA-based screens are used to detect Salmonella type III secretion system effectors. âº PipB2, a T3SS2 effector, is also translocated to host cells through T3SS1. âº T3SS1-dependent translocation of PipB2 is detected in several mammalian cell types. âº PipB2 translocation needs the N-terminal 10 amino acid residues.
