Abstract
⺠Eighty percentage of poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase activity is inhibited by oral administration of GPI 15427. ⺠Both pre- and post-injury GPI 15427 treatments have neuroprotective effects. ⺠GPI 15427 suppresses ischemia and reperfusion-induced PERK-eIF2α-CHOP activation and Bip over-expression.
