Abstract
⺠MgATP protects V-ATPase from inactivation by 7-chloro-4-nitrobenzo-2-oxa-1,3-diazole. ⺠V-ATPase activity saturation with MgATP is not sufficient for complete protection. ⺠The results support a bi-site catalytic mechanism for V-ATPase.
