Abstract
⺠RNA interference GPC3 induces apoptosis in human hepatocellular carcinoma cell. ⺠Silencing GPC3 resulted in the release of cytochrome c and activation of caspase-3. ⺠GPC3 modulates the Bax/Bcl-2/cytochrome c/caspase-3 apoptotic signaling pathway. ⺠Knockdown of GPC3 is a novel approach to HCC treatment.
