Abstract
⺠Circulating DNAs (CDs) can be used to detect genetic/epigenetic abnormalities in MDS. ⺠Epigenetic changes can be detected more sensitively when using plasma DNA than PBMNC. ⺠Mutation ratio in CDs may reflect the ratio in stem cell population in bone marrow. ⺠Using CDs can be a safer alternate strategy compared to bone marrow aspiration.
