Abstract
► Femur AQP9 expression was enhanced after exposure to simulated microgravity. ► AQP9 knockout attenuated microgravity-induced bone loss and osteoclastogenesis. ► Exposure to hypergravity or exercise training suppressed femur AQP9 expression. ► Aging or ovariectomy had no significant effect on femur AQP9 expression.
