Abstract
⺠Critique of recent evaluation and generalization of Henri-Michaelis-Menten equation. ⺠Numerical simulations show recent generalized formula to be a poor approximation. ⺠New generalized rate expression for simple enzyme reaction mathematically derived. ⺠Reaction rate error calculations show adequacy of new reaction rate formula. ⺠New generalized rate equation is acceptable approximation even when E0 in excess.
