Abstract
⺠2-ADH coexists in a protein complex with pyruvate-ferredoxin oxidoreductase (PFOR). ⺠2-ADH interacts with PFOR directly, either invitro or invivo. ⺠There are two forms of native 2-ADH in Thermoanaerobacter tengcongensis, PFOR bound and PFOR free. ⺠The enzyme activities of 2-ADH are inhibited by the interactions with PFOR. ⺠It is a kind of noncompetitive inhibition for PFOR to 2-ADH.
