Abstract
⺠We examined molecular basis of chemokine BRAK expression in epithelial cell. ⺠BRAK was upregulated according to epithelial cell differentiation. ⺠Calcium/calmodulin signaling affected BRAK expression. ⺠A transcription factor SP1 binds to the BRAK promoter region. ⺠BRAK expression was upregulated by SP1 binding to its promoter.
