Abstract
► We evaluated adhesive force and gene expressions of ATDC5 in chondrogenic culture. ► These biomechanical and biochemical properties can be mediated by actin cytoskeleton. ► The force did not pursue the differentiation process as clearly as gene expressions. ► Cell distribution maps of the force changed specifically in the process. ► The peak and width of the distribution can reflect the differentiative stages.
