Abstract

âº L-VOCC, NMDAr and nNOS are present in isolated neuronal lipid rafts. âº L-VOCC and NMDAr are close proteins within lipid rafts-associated sub-microdomains. âº nNOS is separated less than 80Â nm from NMDAr and L-VOCC. âº This compartmentation is a major gain for rapid and focalized stimulation of nNOS.
