Abstract
⺠Testicular torsion-induced ischemia reperfusion injury causes germ cell death and testis inflammation. ⺠EGCG treatment before testis reperfusion inhibits DNA damage and protects against germ cell apoptosis and inflammation. ⺠EGCG down regulates the transcription of the iNOS, MCP-1, p53 and Bax genes. ⺠EGCG has an anti-inflammatory and anti-apoptotic effects on testicular torsion harmful consequences.
