Abstract
⺠Identification of diet induced obesity protected BL/6 (BL/6JRj) substrain. ⺠Protection was independent from food intake. ⺠Relative fat mass was significantly increased only in BL/6NTac under high fat diet conditions. ⺠Identification of 11 SNP differences between both BL/6 substrains.
