Abstract
► The “bivalent mark” model of gene expression works for a cancer-related gene, i.e. BAALC. ► Epigenetic marks indicate that the BAALC gene is “paused” in leukemia cells. ► Compounds able to modify epigenetic marks have effects on BAALC gene expression.
