Abstract
⺠The “bivalent mark” model of gene expression works for a cancer-related gene, i.e. BAALC. ⺠Epigenetic marks indicate that the BAALC gene is “paused” in leukemia cells. ⺠Compounds able to modify epigenetic marks have effects on BAALC gene expression.
