Abstract
⺠Insulin and C-peptide can interact under insulin fibril forming conditions. ⺠C-peptide is incorporated into insulin aggregates and alters aggregation lag time. ⺠C-peptide changes insulin fibril morphology and affects backbone accessibility. ⺠C-peptide may be a regulator of fibril formation by β-cell granule proteins.
