Abstract
⺠Novel transcript variants of Vwc2l were identified. ⺠Vwc2l isoforms were differentially expressed in mouse tissues. ⺠Vwc2l expression is associated with matrix mineralization in osteoblasts. ⺠Vwc2l promotes matrix mineralization in vitro. ⺠Addition of Vwc2l isoform proteins induces Osterix expression.
