Abstract
⺠Measurement of CCL3 induced calcium release and cell migration. ⺠PLC activation is essential for release of calcium and chemotaxis. ⺠PKC activation is not needed for cell migration. ⺠PKC inhibitors can deplete calcium stores independently of receptor activation. ⺠PKC inhibitors should be used with caution in signalling assays.
