Abstract
⺠The interaction between muscle and bone metabolism has recently been noted. ⺠A reduction of FAM5C reduces differentiation in differentiated osteoblasts. ⺠FAM5C produced in myoblastic cells enhances differentiation of osteoblasts. ⺠FAM5C may be an important humoral bone anabolic factor produced by muscle cells.
