Abstract
⺠We observe lag-phase crystallization process in insulin. ⺠The crystallization is a result of the formation of higher order oligomers. ⺠The crystallization also changes the secondary structure of the protein. ⺠The spectroscopic signature can be used for amyloid inhibitors assay.
