Abstract
⺠PPARα agonist and overexpression increases nucleoside transporter hENT1 expression and activity. ⺠PPARγ activation or overexpression induces hENT1 expression but not activity. ⺠PPARα but not PPARγ modulation of the hENT1 promoter is PPRE-dependent.
