Abstract
⺠Insig-1 is markedly degraded in spinal cords of G93A tg mice and ALS patients. ⺠Spinal cord degradation of Insig-1 is associated with SREBP1 activation in G93A mice and human ALS. ⺠Mouse spinal neuron excitotoxicity is blocked by SREBP1 peptide inhibitor Indip.
