Abstract
► A new in vitro method to study ultrasound (US)/microbubble drug delivery is introduced. ► Real time images of cell-microbubble interaction under low-intensity US were captured. ► Microbubble motion/oscillation caused porosity in the membrane without rupturing it. ► The method provides precise sonoporation technique for targeting micro-sized objects.
