⺠Covalently linking two alleles of FNR in tandem enhances its in situ dimerization. ⺠(FNRD154A)2 exhibits significantly higher binding affinities to its various DNA targets. ⺠(FNRD154A)2 retains transcriptional regulation activity and O2 responsive capability.
